Once you’ve received enrollment confirmation from a university abroad, you should start planning to move. At this point, you’re pumped with adrenaline. But remember, you’re going to spend months or years in your new country, so it’s important to plan adequately.

This is the first thing you should pack when going to study abroad. It’s vital to have photocopies of all your travel documents:

  • Copy of travel health insurance

  • Proof of accommodation allotted

 Note: If you’re moving to a country with cold winters, you’ll need winter jackets, raincoats, boots, gloves, and heavy blankets. Students moving to tropical countries need clothing that allows them to breathe and cope with the heat.
